The Beauty of Dogs
"But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you" JOB 12:7
Genesis 2: 19 Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name."
That's when Adam looked at the Dog, and thought it reminded him so much of God, so he reversed the letters of the word GOD and so the DOG came to be.

Dogs are the best gift to mankind. Where can you find a creature so pure? A creature so full of unconditional love. Your true best friend on Earth. Dogs are so full of innocence and warmth and are very very close to God. This is why humans are so attracted to dogs. They are easy access to God's love. Dogs are a safe space for us to be sad, unhappy, scared or angry. Dogs NEVER judge.
Besides their natural instinctive intelligence, Dogs are more than just wild animals. They're particularly gifted abundantly with high levels of empathy. Wanna bet? A dog is the quickest fix to healing ANY kind of emotional problem you're suffering from. Dogs are the BEST mirrors of God's love. I firmly believe dogs have been created with a powerful purpose of protecting human hearts and bringing them closer to God. It is important that we do not underestimate the intelligence and power of dogs. Dogs are much more than just animals. Ten minutes with a dog can douse you with gallons and gallons of pure love and you wouldn't even know what it's healing you from...but its healing you! Dogs are also very closely connected to heaven! Dogs can sniff out emotional as well as physical issues much more proficiently than any human doctor. One of the many purposes of the dog is to heal. I've heard of stories of dogs who could detect cancer in their owners.
Every animal is created in heaven. Every dog has a unique personality! God has designed each dog uniquely giving him a different pattern of fur all over his or her body and giving each one a special personality! God even matches a dog to his owner! Dogs are given strict instructions by God as to what their purpose is. They reflect God and are to "TEACH" humans- how to be more like GOD!
Corinthians 1:27
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
There are a lot of uptight people in the world who believe animals are foolish. Wrong! We have much to learn from animals. Dogs and animals teach us unconditional love. They teach us to love ourselves the way they love us. I also strongly believe that animals are gifted with a special kind of intelligence and power that humans lack. Although we cannot prove these things we can be open to the hypothesize!

The point of the matter is, there's ALOT you can learn from your dog! Try being more observant about how your dog approaches life, he or she can teach you more than you could imagine.

Losing a Dog
Losing a dog is one of the most difficult things a human can go through, the sad part is some people "just don't get it". Losing your dog is like losing a part of your soul. They brought so much love and joy and now you're left with nothing but a few old dog toys and their chewed up pillow.
If you are struggling with the grief of losing your dog, my heart weeps for you, I have struggled with this too, and million others every day. Never set a timeline on grief. Let grief take as long as it needs. You LOVED this little animal. Let your heart and mind feel the withdrawal effects they need to. Your heart is shattered and you are so deeply wounded. You might feel like a portion of your heart has been ripped out and can never heal. Slowly but surely as you keep praying to Abba Father, Jesus will mend your broken heart. He will replace your suffering with joy, and give you peace about your circumstances. It might not help you immediately, but its important for you to know that your furry friend has left you and is safe on the other side.
Psalm 145:9

Hosea 2:18
“And I will make for them a covenant on that day with the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the creeping things of the ground. And I will abolish the bow, the sword, and war from the land, and I will make you lie down in safety.”
Your special pet is in a much better place. He has reunited with his Creator and he is dwelling in eternal peace safe from all distress and suffering. God has rescued him. He will live forever! He is far too special and important. Ask God to give you grace and comfort during your suffering. Slowly you will recover from this pain as your pet looks down on you and awaits your arrival in heaven.
